Sherrin and Gary Hardgrave from the Greg Cary Morning Show on 4BC discuss:

  • Children with home computers getting lower school results according to a study from Duke University, Sanford, of more than 150 000 individual students;
  • School holidays: Create a holiday day-trip project for your children to organise

According to a new study by scholars at Duke University’s Sandford School of Public Policy of 150 000 individual students,  “... having home computers widens the achievement gap in reading and maths results!” Students in years 5 to 8, especially those children from disadvantaged families, tend to post lower results once these technologies arrive in their home.
